- One of the most premier institutes of medical education, King George’s Medical College (KGMC), Lucknow, awarded Dr Aruna Saxena her MD (Obs & Gynae) in 1995.
- Prior to this she had completed her MBBS from the same institute. KGMC now known as KGMU (King George’s Medical University) celebrated its centenary in 2011, a year after Dr Aruna celebrated her silver jubilee of joining this prestigious institution.
- In almost two decades of her post MD experience, she spent more than 50% of her time training and practicing in the field of ART (Assisted Reproductive Technology).
- During her stint in Fudan Vision Medical center in Shanghai China, where she resided for three years, she was exposed to the international clientele with language, racial and geographical diversity.
- To further nurture her passion in the field of In vitro Fertilization (IVF) and Embryology, she trained in Embryology at National University of Singapore, which boasts of conducting more than 1000 IVF/ICSI cycles per year with amazing results.
- She has also been trained in IVF at various places in India & abroad, NUS (Singapore), Fudan Vision Medical centre, Shanghai, KMC (Manipal), CFC (Chennai) & AFMC (Pune), to name a few.
- Her major practice areas include Embryology, Infertility, IVF, Recurrent Abortions and other ART related specializations.
- Dr Aruna is currently Senior Consultant at Max Super speciality Hospital, Vaishali , Shanti Gopal Hospital & Maitrika Hospital Indirapuram.
- She has been practicing in Indirapuram since 2007 and started Orchid IVF in April 2017. An ardent believer in continual up-gradation of her knowledge and skills in the fast evolving field of infertility treatment, she keeps her updated through various seminars, workshops and CMEs in India and abroad.
- Dr Aruna has earlier worked as Director of Pushpanjali IVF & Infertility Institute Pvt Ltd from 2009-2011 & Director of Lifecare IVF Pvt LTD, Gagan Vigar Delhi from 2012 till 2018.
- She is a born teacher, and has trained more than 100 Gynaecologists & budding Embryologist in IVF training programs organized at Lifecare IVF, Delhi.
- She is a member of ESHRE (European Society of Human Reproduction& Embryology & Life member of IFS (Indian Fertility Society), GESI (Gynecological Endocrine Society of India), DGF(Delhi Gynecology Forum) MACE ( Manipal Academy of Clinical Embryologist) , East Delhi Gynecologist forum & WALS (World Association of Laparoscopic Surgeons).
- She is also the past Vice President of Rotary Club of Indirapuram Parivaar.
- Her passion is ART (Assisted Reproductive Technology) and her goal is to excel in the fields of IVF, ICSI, PGD (Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis) and Cryopreservation
- This led to establishment of Orchid IVF, a state of the art IVF Center in Indirapuram with fully equipped operation theatre ,Intensive care facility and a high tech Embryology lab.
- She is also a fitness freak and motivates her patients to follow the same.
- Her hobbies are travelling, swimming, trekking, cooking & gardening. Sudoku is her favorite time pass.
